Features For Teachers : Designed with the busy teacher in mind, "Features for Teachers" is a page offering information on new materials and links to many of the resources listed below. Often built around a newsworthy topic or seasonal theme, this page also offers links to relevant bibliographies and gives searching tips to enrich your results. Because busy teachers must plan ahead, a helpful list of upcoming events is appended each month to provide ideas for instructional activities. Specialized Bibliographies at the Easy, Children's, Young Adult and Adult Levels NoveList contains over 1200 pre-constructed booklists on a wide range of topics and genres. These lists are excellent sources for handouts or book displays . Contained as part of Explore Fiction and Best Fiction sections, these lists are also a great starting point for your readers who are browsers. Many lists are designed to address topics contained in the curriculum. For example, look at product's Explore Fiction section for Young Adults to find lists on several topics that deal with social issues confronting today's teens (including Body Image, Coming-of-age Stories, Latinos, Multicultural, Adoption, and much more).

Standards-Based Thematic Units These specially designed units emphasize the skills and strategies, literary concepts and vocabulary that enable students to comprehend and appreciate a wide range of materials.
