MEMBERS OF THE FOUNDATION HALL OF DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI

2001:  A. Eugene "Gene" Case, Administratior, Teacher, Coach, Friend.  Served Troy Schools 1939-1943, 1946-1974.  Army Air force 1943-1946.

2002:  Tom & Marilyn Calkins, Have dedicated their lives to promoting activities in the community for all ages.

2003:  Mildred Wright, 1923 Graduate of Mansfield State Normal School.  Taught a total of 38 years with 25 of those being in Troy, the last 20 of which were in Jr. High.  Very involved in community activities.
          Chester "Chet" Phillips, Teacher, Coach, Volunteer.  Started football in Troy in 1948, Served Troy School 1941-1978.  Taught over 3000 students in driver training.

2004:  Wendell Judson, Pilot, US Air Force 1943-1945, Judsons Feed & Farm Supply 1946-1996, Community Service, Supporter of Trojan Athletics.
           Clyde E. Robbins, Vice Admiral, US Coast Guard (Retired), Native of Columbia Cross Roads. Graduated THS 1949, Graduated US Coast Guard Academy 1954, Retired to Troy 1993 after 43 years in USCG.

2005:  Senator Roger A. Madigan, THS Graduate 1947, PSU Graduate 1951, Dairy Farmer, PA State Representative 1977-1984, PA State Senator 1985-.
           Evan S. Williams, THS Student, Class President, Athlete 1939, Graduate of Cornell University, Cornell Law School, B-17 Pilot, World War II, Attorney-at-Law Troy 1947-1968, President Judge of Bradford Co. 1968-1984. Good judgement and wise counsel offered with humor
and humility.

2006:  Richard "Dick" Besley, Colonel, US Air Force (Retired), THS 1949, University of Texas 1953, Pilot USAF 1953-1983, Vietnam 1958, Distinguished Flying Cross, Century Farm, School Board, Scoutmaster
          W. Alonzo "Lonnie" Thomas, Farmer, THS 1929, Member Troy Lions Club 60 years, Established Lions Athletic Teams, Old Shoe Game, Troy Little League & Farmers Museum.  Troy Fair Board Member 25 years.  Married 71 years ot Vadys Reeser.

2008:  J. Robert Garrison, Owner Columbia Cross Roads Equipment, THS Class of 1963, Troy Fair Manager since 1989, C&N Bank Director, Alparon Park Board, Father of 5 Daughters, an asset to the community.

2009:  Howard J. Smith, Jr., Troy High School 1946, Bucknell University 1950, Korea 1950-1953, Retired U.S. Army Active Reserves, Personal Financial Advisor 45 years, Active in Church and Community Service, including Mansfield University, Guthrie Health, Martha Lloyd Community Services
          Dr. Lawrence W. Brown ("Brownie"), graduate of Troy High School, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Founder of Troy Community Hospital, Team Physician for Troy High School Sports, Physician and friend of the Greater Troy Community.

2010:  Sarah Crumbling Ransom, THS 1958, University of Buffalo 1962, Masters from Long Island University, Distinguished Career in Health Care, Leader in Community Service, Revived THS Alumni Association 2005
          F. Dale Mattocks honored for his many years of service to the community, 21 years of service on the School Board, and his activities with 4H and many other agricultural organizations.

2011:  Henry P. Davison (1867-1922) attended Troy School until the age of 15, finishing at Greylock Institute. He became a leader in New York City banking and international finance.  He directed Red Cross efforts during World War I and founded the International Red Cross.He is particularly remembered for his plan that financed, beautified and transformed Troy's downtwn.
           Col. David Duart USAF (Ret.) (1934-2003) THS graduate.  Air Force fighter pilot, Viet Nam POW, awarded Silver Star three times and the Legion of Merit in addition to many other awards throughout his military career.
