For this first semester of the 2018-19 school year, I welcome you to US Civics & Government and World Cultures! Each class is working very hard to learn about the role that government plays in their everyday lives, as well as on a global scale. Juniors and Seniors have the opportunity to take Honors/Dual Enrollment Economics or AP Government & Politics - US as an elective, if they meet the requirements of achieving an A in at least 2 Honors History courses coupled with teacher recommendation.

All classes offer in-depth discussion, active class participation, simulations, group activities and access to multiple types of technology. Students learn how to respectfully debate current issues, investigate hot topics revolving around the government and follow the US and global economies.

Students will identify trends in markets, politics and policy - which makes all classes interesting, lively and pertinent!
