Dear Troy Jr/Sr High School Students and Parents/Guardians:
We
wanted to extend a huge congratulations to the Class of 2020! You are
now part of the Troy Trojans Alumni! We are so proud of each and every
one of you and cannot wait to see what the future holds for you all. We
know it has been a difficult and different end to the year, but we have
enjoyed the individual time we got to spend with each graduate and
their families. The following is updated information concerning senior
events, especially the Senior parade and Virtual Commencement Ceremony.
Senior Prom

A video-slideshow was created and is currently on the TASD website,
featuring the prom court and their individual biographies.
- Congrats to Prom Queen Hope Houseknecht and Prom King Robert Rogers!
Academic and Athletic Awards
-
Students were recorded receiving their awards. The official Academic
and Athletic Award video will be uploaded to the TASD website on
Wednesday, June 3rd.
- Individual pictures and videos will also
be emailed to students. Please check your school email for these on
Wednesday, June 3rd.
Graduation Parade
- Friday, June 5th at 5:30pm:
- Start at Croman, the bowling alley or Point Spring Drive Shaft depending on your last name (see attached document for details);
- End at the Jr/Sr High parking lot.
- Expectations for social distancing will be communicated and enforced.
- Spectators are asked to remain 6 feet apart.
- Spectators are asked to wear a mask or facial covering.
- Students and families participating in the parade must remain in their cars at all times, even once the parade is finished.
- Please do not stop and/or park at the end of the parade – continue through and exit.

Students will be able to have some family members be in town and around
the parade route to support them before they go home to watch their
graduation ceremony.
Virtual Graduation “Ceremony”
- Individual students came to the auditorium the week of Memorial Day

The video compilation will be released after the parade on Friday, June
5th at 8:15pm so families can gather in their homes, watch the ceremony
video, and celebrate.
Senior signs
- Individual double-sided signs with our Seniors’ pictures are displayed on the student parking lot hill, by the grand staircase at the High School.
- A second set of single-sided signs with Senior pictures are posted around town.
- A third set will be distributed to Seniors for the parade, and they may keep those.
