has partnered with Berks County IU to publish a comprehensive document that
outlies state mandates for PA public school districts.
All Pennsylvania
school districts are required to comply with state mandates. State Mandates come from Pennsylvania School
Code and Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE). These mandates describe what districts must
do. The amount of funding allocated to
each mandate is critical to be success of a high-quality education. Administrators will continue to collaborate and
advocate for funding support and relevancy of each mandate. The Troy Area School District is committed to
providing a high-quality equitable education for all students.
