The Title I Kingdom of Kindness Family Literacy Night will take place on Wednesday, April 5th from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at the Troy Intermediate School! Kindergarten through 6th grade students and their families are invited to embark on a "Kindness Knight Quest" while participating in many fun-filled activities to spread kindness to others!
Some activities include: "Planting Seeds of Kindness" (planting a flower seed to share with others), "Spread Kindness Like Wildflowers Cards" (to be given to community members at the Reynolds Apartments, Hillcrest, and the Manor), a "Fortress of Kindness" (compiled of Kindness Affirmation bricks), "Chalk It Up to Kindness" (a kindness sidewalk chalk activity), a "Kindness Photo Opportunity" (with our Kindness Knight), and a "Kindness Quest Game" in the gym/mat room where KINDNESS WINS! The literacy night is complete with ice cream sundaes topped with sprinkles (of kindness, of course)! Finally, the Scholastic Book Fair will be open in the TIS library as well!
