Thank you for sponsoring your school's participation in the Trex Plastic Film Recycling Challenge. This school year has certainly been different and I appreciate every school that participate. All students should be very proud of the plastic bags/film recycled, regardless of the amount. Every bag recycled in one less in our landfills! More than 300 schools registered for the Challenge with 270 reporting.
Participate awards and will be sent out in the next couple of weeks and are shipped from a company called NW Works.
Congratulations to Troy Area Junior Senior High School. They will be awarded a Trex bench for the High School category of 0-500 student enrollment. They recycled 2601 pounds.
