Good afternoon,
This morning we met as an administrative team and decided that we will be closing the school district and moving into remote learning from September 29th - October 16th. Bradford county is now listed as a moderate transmission county and the rise in positive COVID cases is a county wide concern. Please continue to maintain social distancing and masking while out of school to help prevent the spread of COVID 19. We all need to work together on promoting this in order to keep everyone healthy.
Tomorrow, Monday September 28th will be a professional development day for teachers. Students will not be in school tomorrow. Starting on Tuesday, September 29th students will be expected to log-into CAOLA daily, and work with their classroom teachers to complete their assignments. More detailed information will be sent out by your building level administrators.
We will be posting a schedule on Monday for students in K-6 that do not have their IPAD’s with times and location for pick-up.
Student remote learning will start on Tuesday, September 29th and run through Friday, October 16th. As of right now students will be returning to the building on October 19th. We will provide you with an update on October 12th to ensure students are returning on October 19th. We are not going to be holding any extra-curricular activities during September 28th – October 16th. Parent teacher conferences on October 12th need to be scheduled with your classroom teacher via ZOOM or telephone conferences only. There will be no in-person parent conferences on October 12th.
October 2nd and October 9th will be remote instructional days.
We will be posting a schedule for meal pick-up on Monday for students in K-12.
We will not be providing transportation for students that attend the Northern Tier Career Center, these students will be completing their instruction virtually through the Northern Tier Career Center.
