Congratulations to Joey Schwenk, who received the Outstanding Sportsmanship award in wrestling!
While many of our students receive awards in athletics, this one is of particular importance. He was recognized by the PIAA District IV Northern Tier Chapter of Wrestling Officials this past Saturday after taking second place at the Sectional Tournament in Athens and qualifying for Districts at 113 lbs. He wrestled up a weight class all season at 120 lbs. to help his team which made him much smaller than most of his opponents during the regular season.
