A PROGRAM FOR PARENTS AND STUDENTS
UNDERSTANDING IN-DEMAND AND GROWING FIELDS IS ESSENTIAL FOR CAREER PLANNING.
Supply Chain Management (SCM) is a complex, fast-changing and rapidly growing career field. Supply chain activities cover everything from product development, sourcing, production, and logistics, to the information systems needed to coordinate these activities.
The concept of SCM is based on two core ideas:
1. Practically every product that reaches an end user represents the cumulative effort of multiple organizations. These organizations are referred to collectively as the supply chain.
2. Organizations that make up the supply chain are intricately linked together through a combination of physical and information flows.
