Bus Safety

On Thursday, January 6, 2022; Brennan Rankin, a second-grade student from WR Croman Primary School was getting off the bus at his home.  He double checked the traffic and saw a vehicle coming toward the bus.  The vehicle did not stop for the bus red lights or stop arm sign.  Brennan is familiar enough "On his Toes" with safely crossing the road, that he did not proceed across the road to his home.  He waited until it was safe to cross.

Friday, January 7 he was honored with a Bus Safety Certificate, a Giant Hershey Candy Bar, and a Trojan Head for Positive Behavior.  This year the district initiated a PBIS program rewarding students for their positive behavior.  School Bus Safety is such an important part of traffic safety.  The district would like to remind all drivers the importance of stopping for school buses.

Thank you.
