Troy Area School District is proud to partner with Gardiner's Orchard, LLC and Bristol's Farm Market to provide fresh fruits and vegetables in our cafeterias.

2025/2026 Update:  
We will be reinforcing our commitment to good nutrition for your children. Your child must choose at least one fruit or vegetable with lunch. We will be encouraging the students to try new vegetable selections. There will be a great selection of fruits and vegetables. Milk will be 1% flavored & fat free or 1% low fat white milk. All of our grain offerings are 80% whole grain rich.  All of our foods are trans fats free and the sodium is limited.

The Troy Area School District participates in the National School Lunch Program & the School Breakfast Program.

The School Nutrition Association and National Dairy Council have partnered to create an educational awareness campaign, Made With School Lunch, to inspire and inform educators, students and the community about the positive benefits and outcomes made possible by nutrient-rich school lunches.

Introducing COMPASS
COMPASS allows Pennsylvanian's to apply for social service programs such as Food Stamps (FS), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Energy Assistance, Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP), etc., online.  Families can use COMPASS to apply for other services at the same time (FS, TANF, etc.)

Pam Hicks

Meet Pam Hicks!  Pam has worked for the Troy Area School District for 23 years.  Her current position is Cafeteria Manager in the Troy Junior Senior High School.  She loves cooking and loves the students. Outside of work Pam enjoys gardening and working in her flower beds.  She also enjoys spending time with family and being outdoors.

Meet Jodi Landis! Jodi has worked for the Troy School District for 17 years. Her current position in Cafeteria Manager at Troy Intermediate School. Jodi loves spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Meet Amy Buck! Amy has worked for the Troy School District for 18 years! Her current position is Cafeteria Manager at WR Croman.
