Musical Flyer - Something Rotten

The Troy Area Junior Senior High School Drama Club is thrilled to present the hilarious, high-energy musical Something Rotten! on Friday, February 28, at 7:30 PM, and Saturday, March 1, with performances at 1:00 PM and 7:30 PM. All performances will take place at Troy High School’s Memorial Auditorium. 

 Set in the Renaissance, Something Rotten! follows two struggling playwright brothers, Nick and Nigel Bottom, as they attempt to outshine the wildly popular William Shakespeare by writing the world’s first musical. Filled with clever humor, show-stopping numbers, and a fresh take on theater history, this Broadway hit is a must-see!

 

This exciting production features a talented cast and crew of 58 students in grades 7-12, showcasing their dedication, hard work, and passion for the performing arts. With dynamic choreography, dazzling costumes, and a live orchestra, the show promises to deliver an unforgettable theatrical experience.  

**Please note: Something Rotten! is rated PG for some language and adult themes. Parental discretion is advised. 

 

Tickets are now available for purchase at First Citizens Community Bank in Troy. Tickets will also be available at the door. Tickets may also be reserved by calling the high school office for pickup and payment at the Will Call table before the show.
