WHERE & WHEN
John Hickok will be holding school bus driver training classes at the Western Alliance Emergency Services Building, 121 Canton Street, Troy PA, on Saturday, March 7th from 8:00am-4:00pm. This classis for new drivers AND drivers who need recertification. A second day of classroom training for new drivers only will be held on Saturday, March 14th from 8:00am-4:00pm at the same location. (Please park on the side of the building next to the creek.)
WHAT TO BRING
All drivers should bring a valid driver's license. Current drivers should bring their S-Endorsement Card or "Yellow Card." Feel free to bring your own snacks, beverage, and/or bag lunch. There will be an AM break, PM break, and a lunch break. There are many available eating locations close by as well.
OPTIONS
I am planning to offer livestreaming as an option for day 1 only. If you prefer to complete your classroom requirement training for day 1 by staying home and logging on you may do so. This is considered "Virtual Training" and is at the present time an acceptable means of classroom training. However, I must receive your request, along with your mailing address, at least 2 weeks in advance (no later than February 21). I will then forward the appropriate class documentation and training website link with passcode link. Requests for virtual training can be made to my email (homeatwork@fronteiernet.net) or by texting or calling my cell phone number (272-253-0723).
COST & PAYMENT
The cost of the in-person classroom training is $50.00 per person, per day, payable by the end of the training time. An additional $10.00 will be charged for those who join virtually to help cover the cost of mailings and web fees. Credit card, personal check, company check, cash, Venmo, Chime, Apple Pay, or company invoice are all acceptable forms of payment.
CAN'T MAKE THE DATE?
Perhaps your S-Endorsement is to expire soon and you need an earlier date to keep things current. Other instructors may be available. Reach out to me for more information.
