Madison Vail, a 12th grade Art Student at TASD, placed with Honorable Mention in the Regional Scholastic Art Awards with her portfolio of six ceramics pieces entitled "Nothing Blooms Year Round". Her artwork, along with other winners from the Twin Tiers Art Region, will be on display at the Arnot Art Museum in Elmira NY from January 20th until March 13th 2026.

On December 15, the Troy Trojan Junior High basketball cheerleaders spread some holiday cheer while performing for residents at Twin Oaks Personal Care Home, Hillcrest, and Paul Reynolds Apartments. Way to share your talents and spirit with the community, girls!

Congratulations to Saydi Renzo on signing to Misericordia University to play Women's soccer while earning her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy with a minor in Business Sports Management. Saydi will be leaving Troy this spring as a highly decorated athlete as 4-time NTL champion, 4-time district qualifier, first female to make 50/50 club with 50 goals and 50 assists. 2025 NTL all-star 1st place, BC all-star 1st place, Bradford county co pay, NTL Championship (4th) District finalist and state qualifier. Saydi we are all so proud of you!

Please see the reminders below for the required state mandates. Troy Online Academy students must still comply with the state mandates even though they are not present in the school building.

Kdg parents please forward Dental visits and a physical dated 8/2024 to present to nurse's office if not already done.
3rd grade parents please forward Dental visits dated 8/2024 to present to nurse's office if not already done.
6th grade parents- Please forward a physical to the nurse's office (if not already done) along with confirmation of your students MCV and Tdap immunizations. Both are needed to start 7th grade so have them completed now! The physical can be dated 8/2024 to present. You will also need to forward a recent Dental visit dated 8/2025 to present to the nurse's office.
7th grade Parent reminders from the TASD Nurses: Please forward a dental visit dated 8/2024 to present to satisfy the dental mandate for 7th grade. Make sure your student is up to date on the first MCV and their updated Tdap that was to be given with their 6th grade physical.
11th Grade Parental Reminder from the Nurses Office:
Physicals- Please forward a recent physical (dated 8/2024 to present) to the nurse's office. You should have been notified personally if you still need to send this information to the nurse.
Immunizations- Your student will need their second MCV BEFORE starting their senior year. Please have that completed now and have the doctor's office forward the information to the nurse. Parents have been notified if the information is still needed.

With the government shutdown and uncertainty of SNAP benefits, school lunches and breakfasts are more critical than ever!!  Students in Troy School District can get free lunch and breakfast every school day!
