Dual Enrollment

Dual Enrollment gives your child an opportunity to receive college credits while still in high school and is available to Juniors and Seniors that meet certain academic requirements and complete the application process.  We currently offer Dual Enrollment courses through Keystone College, Lackawanna College, Penn College, and Mansfield ESP.

Keystone College Dual Enrollment
$100/credit. Keystone College will bill the students for any Dual Enrollment classes they are enrolled in. You will receive this December/January and you will pay the college directly. This bill will include semester I and semester II Dual Enrollment Courses.

Keystone College Dual Enrollment Courses for 2023-2024:
AP Calculus AB - Calculus I (4 Credits)
AP Chemistry - General Chemistry I (4 Credits) and General Chemistry II (4 Credits)
AP English - College Writing II (3 Credits)
Speech - Speech Communications (3 Credits)

Transcript Acquisition
To have your Keystone Transcript sent to the college or university of your choice, contact Keystone College Registrar's Office.
There is a $5 fee for every requested transcript.

Lackawanna College Dual Enrollment 
$115/credit. A representative from Lackawanna College will visit the high school once each semester. This date will be announced ahead of time and students must have a check turned in by that day. The check can be made out to Lackawanna College.

English 12 Honors - College Writing (3 Credits)
Mathematical Reasoning and Application - College Algebra (3 Credits)
Physics II - General Physics I (3 Credits)

To have your Lackawanna College Transcript sent to the college or university of your choice, contact Lackawanna College Registrar's Office.

Penn College of Technology Dual Enrollment
These dual enrollment courses are offered at no charge to the students.

Pennsylvania College Dual Enrollment Courses for 2023-2024:
Web Design - Web Design (3 Credits)
Honors Psychology - Psychology (3 Credits)

Transcript Acquisition
To have your Pennsylvania College of Technology Transcript sent to the college or university of your choice, 
make your request through Parchment who has been appointed as the designated agent for processing and sending all official transcripts. Electronic delivery is available for a fee of $7.59. Printed transcripts with delivery by the US Postal service are available for $10.09.  Contact the Student Help Desk at 570.329.4848 with any questions about Student Information System access.

Commonwealth University Early College
Early College students will be responsible for paying $115/credit.

Get a head-start on your college career through Commonwealth University’s Early College program at Bloomsburg, Lock Haven, and Mansfield.  Students may take up to 12 credits per semester. Summer and winter session courses, up to 6 credits in each session. Courses may be taken on campus, online, or through Mansfield’s approved districts as concurrent enrollment in a secondary environment.

Want to join? Complete the following steps!
  1. Apply! - https://www.commonwealthu.edu/early-college
  2. Talk to your parent/guardian- they will be receiving an electronic form, via email, authorizing you to participate in our program! 
  3. Download and complete your Authorization to Participate form! This form can be completed electronically and will need to be reviewed by your school counselor. They will submit it to us along with your high school transcript! Please note, the school will release the high school transcript following their policy and procedure.
  4. Once your requirements are met, check your personal email for your acceptance letter!
